As a Financial Controller,
You will lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, monitoring performance and analyzing deviations to keep the company on track.
You will be responsible for the Reporting to the Company Committee, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of financial statements.
You will use your expert-level Excel skills to model complex financial scenarios and provide deep-dive analysis on KPIs and profitability.
As a NetSuite Automation Lead,
You will be the internal owner of our ERP. You won’t just "input data"; you will design the system.
You will identify bottlenecks in the finance cycle and create automations and workflows within NetSuite to eliminate manual tasks.
You will ensure the integrity of data flow between our operational systems and the finance department.
As a Team Member,
You will translate financial data into actionable insights for the Management Team.
You will collaborate with other departments to ensure that financial processes (billing, expenses, procurement) are efficient and user-friendly.
Long story, short: How will your first days in Metricool look like?
First month: You will dive deep into our business model and current financial processes. You will meet the team, understand the reporting requirements of the parent company, and get familiar with our current NetSuite setup.
First Quarter: You will take full ownership of the monthly closing and reporting cycle. By now, you should have identified the "low-hanging fruit" for automation and started implementing the first workflows to reduce manual workload.
To the moon: After this onboarding, you will be the guardian of Metricool’s financial health. You will have built a semi-automated reporting structure that allows you to focus less on "data gathering" and more on "strategic analysis" to support our growth.
Job requirements. You’ll be successful on your mission if you have:
Experience: Proven experience as a Financial Controller, FP&A Manager, or similar role. Crucially, you must have a background in NetSuite implementation or heavy customization (like the profile of an Implementation Consultant Lead).
Hard Skills:
NetSuite Expert: You know how to build saved searches, workflows, and customize forms.
Excel Master: Pivot tables and VLOOKUPs are basic for you; you are comfortable with macros, complex modeling, and handling large datasets.
Accounting: Solid understanding of accounting principles and consolidation.
Languages: Professional proficiency in English and Spanish (essential for reporting).
Soft Skills:
Analytical Mindset: You see patterns where others see just numbers.
Proactivity: You don't wait for someone to tell you a process is broken; you fix it.
Communication: Ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
